African Lion

Fascinating Facts:

Known as the king of the savanna, lions are social predators living in prides. Males weigh 150–250 kg and are recognizable by their iconic manes, while females are the primary hunters.

Lions are the only cats that live in groups called prides, typically consisting of 10-15 individuals
A male lion’s roar can be heard up to 8 kilometers (5 miles) away, serving as territorial communication
Female lions do 85-90% of the hunting, working together in coordinated groups to take down prey

African Elephant

Black Rhinoceros
